Bought this for micro-soldering PCB repairs and it's been a game changer. The 7-inch IPS screen is incredibly clear, and the gooseneck lights eliminate the glare from the flux. Highly recommended for electronics work.
Perfect for my coin collecting hobby. I can easily see mint errors and micro-scratches that my loupe missed. Being able to take a 12MP photo straight to the SD card makes cataloguing my collection so much easier.
We use three of these in our university biology lab for introductory entomology. The build quality of the aluminium stand is fantastic, and the students find the interface very intuitive.
The magnification and picture quality are superb. My only minor gripe is that assembling the base took a bit of fiddling with the Allen key, but once it's together, it's rock solid.
I upgraded from a cheaper 4.3-inch model and the difference is night and day. The screen is huge and the colours are much more accurate. Delivery was incredibly fast, arrived the next morning.
